Questions
What is Woodsmill Village's pet policy?
  • Woodsmill Village welcomes mature, declawed,
    spayed/neutered cats, up to 2 per household, as well as
    service animals.
  • If you have a cat, a pet deposit of $250 is due at lease
    signing.
  • Of that $250, $200 is fully refundable at move-out and
    $50 is a non-refundable registration fee.


What are Woodsmill Village's application fees/security
deposits/etc?
  • To rent an apartment, you will fill out an application and
    give us a check for $250 at that time.  
  • $200 holds the apartment until your application is
    processed.  This $200 goes toward your security
    deposit if your application is approved and is
    refundable if it is not approved.
  • $50 is the non-refundable application fee
  • Once your application is approved, you will pay the
    remainder of the security deposit and sign your lease.
  • Security deposit amounts vary based on the size of the
    apartment, from $300-$500.


What utilities are paid for by Woodsmill Village?
  • Woodsmill Village covers your water, sewer, and trash
    bills (we have valet trash services, meaning you can place
    your trash outside your front door twice a week and
    someone will pick it up for you).
  • You are responsible for your electric bill (we are an all-
    electric community), as well as any other TV, phone, etc.
    services you wish to have.


Does Woodsmill Village do short-term leases?
  • Generally, our leases are a year in length.  Anything other
    than a year is based on management's discretion and is
    subject to extra fees.
